We look forward to meeting you at your first appointment. During this time, we will gather important information including any significant medical and dental history. To save you time in the office, you can print and fill out our patient forms and bring them with you to your appointment. We will take a full mouth x-ray (panorex) and some photographs of your smile before you visit with Dr. Campbell. These tools will help Dr. Campbell diagnose your case and determine your treatment options. We want to make sure you are comfortable in our office and that we have answered all of your questions during this visit. Therefore, you should plan to be with us for about an hour for your initial exam.
After Dr. Campbell diagnoses your case there are several possibilities for your orthodontic treatment:
- Full braces may be needed
- The patient may be too young for orthodontic treatment and will be monitored and reevaluated periodically through our observation system.
- The patient may be too young for comprehensive treatment, but in need of minor treatment.
- No treatment may be indicated.
